Climate, sunshine, water, air and mud: all are unique at the
Dead Sea. No other site in the world provides such an extraordinary
combination of natural elements with the capability to rehabilitate and

salts and the Dead Sea mud, the oxygen-rich atmosphere and the mineral
sulfur springs of the region.
Unique Sun Rays: attenuation of a certain spectrum of
Ultra-Violet radiation provides therapeutic properties for an
impressive number of diseases.
High Salt Concentration: the Dead Sea salt concentration is ten
times higher than regular Sea water, the very unusual concentration and
composition of the Dead Sea water adds, by absorption through the skin,
another natural healing and soothing property for a number of skin and
joint diseases.
Natural Black Mud: found on the Dead Sea shores, it has thermal
properties, which stimulate blood circulation and improve many types of
joint diseases.
Mineral Sulfur Springs: abundant in this area, have shown well-established therapeutic value for a number of muscle and joint diseases.

We are proud to bring here the opinion of one of the most
prominent world expert in psoriasis treatment. This leaves no doubt
about the capabilities of this natural treatment:
Sunlight can be a valuable treatment option for people with psoriasis.
Eighty percent of the people who get regular daily doses of sunlight
enjoy improvement or clearing of their psoriasis. Climatotherapy is a
term used to discuss the use of sunlight and water, such as the ocean
or other bodies of water, to treat psoriasis.
For climatotherapy, the best-known location is the Dead Sea in Israel,
where each year thousands of people with psoriasis and other skin
disease go for the extensive sun exposure and baths in the unique
water. This treatment is very effective and safe in most cases,
although it is an expensive option for people from the U.S. Other
climatotherapy sites do exist around the world, but their facilities
and reputation do not match that of the Dead Sea.

Suffering from Psoriasis: why don't you try the Dead Sea?
Psoriasis is a dermatological disease easy to diagnose. But its
treatment can be sometimes difficult because of its features of chronic
ailment, with a lot of variability in the severity of the lesions from
one patient to another, as well as the frequency and the intensity of
the "flare-up" attacks. Among the local treatments, the PUVA therapy
shows good results, like the photo-climatotherapy at the Dead Sea.
The causes of Psoriasis are still unknown. This disease, characterized
by red and scaly lesions, can involve a variable quantity of the body
skin surface. In severe cases, PUVA therapy has be proven as a valuable
therapeutic method. The principle of action is simple: the lesions are
treated by light (UVA radiation) delivered in cabin, associated to a
medication taken before treatment, in order to enhance the effects of
the irradiation. This treatment is also possible in a "natural manner",
and without the need of any additional product: the Dead Sea is a
classic destination for patients suffering from Psoriasis.
